Roni Simpson is an entertainment news writer and aspiring television personality who has dedicated her life to gaining a broader knowledge of mass communications. From her experience in film and television to broadcast journalism, the extent of Roni’s pursuits is not limited to one form of media. As an intern on the Dr. Phil Show, Roni assisted segment producers by researching topics, contacting guests, and assisting with the overall production of shows and featured segments. Her internship at KTLA has also added to the wealth of her experience and knowledge. She coordinated with writers to ensure the morning scripts were edited, printed, and received by anchors in a timely manner.  She worked as an intern for Fox News, where she assisted the Assignment Editor with contacting sources, transcribing celebrity interviews, pitching story ideas, and working red carpet events. Roni also gained experience at Entertainment Tonight/The Insider where she worked in the travel department, and assisted producers with show research. Roni’s most recent work experience comes from CNN where she was given the opportunity to write stories and help with the production of Brooke Baldwin’s news show. 

In addition, Roni has gained a great deal of knowledge abroad having studied social media, magazine writing, and mass communications in Florence, Italy. Roni represents an idea deeper than an impacting resume and a string of work experience; her testimony of life symbolizes the possibilities of a dream based in faith and determination. The knowledge and experience she has acquired over the years is only supplementary to the innate talents and drive she brings to any project or creative endeavor.
