Bobbi Kristina and her grandmother Cissy Houston came to an agreement about how and when Bobbi will inherit Whitney’s money, and all in time for the family’s new reality show.
Cissy wanted to keep the $22 million left by Whitney away from Bobbi Kristina, saying it was too much for such a young woman, but that’s all behind them and they’ve come to an agreement. Now 19, Bobbi Kristina will receive $2 million when she hits 21, $4 million at 25 and the rest when she’s 30…$16 million. Someone’s going to have a huge party for their 30th birthday.
All this news comes right on time for their reality show which will focus on the family healing after Whitney’s death, but a lot of the drama may land on Bobbi’s relationship with her adopted brother, Nick Gordon. There are rumors floating around that Gordon only started getting serious about his adopted sister when he realized how much money she’d be rolling in.
There’s also talk that Bobbi and Nick are engaged, but she kept hushed about it at the premiere party for her reality show, The Houstons: On Our Own. Other than her quiet stance on the matter, she was in high spirits throughout the night. She said at the event, “I’m doing okay, I’m doing pretty good. I am doing better than I ever thought I would. Definitely better than I thought I would.”
