Lil Wayne will have to take it easy for a day or two after suffering some scary symptoms while aboard a private jet both yesterday and today.

TMZ has reported that the MC’s jet made an emergency landing in Texas Thursday after he was hit with what were described as “seizure-like symptoms.” Lil Wayne was admitted to a hospital and later released.

Reps for the star gave this statement to MTV News:

“Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration…. He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”

Lil Wayne then cancelled a Saturday appearance in Kentucky, and was expected to resume his busy schedule next week. However, the “No Worries” rapper had yet another medical scare while in the air Friday afternoon. Weezy and his crew were attempting once again to head to Los Angeles, but had to quickly land in Lousiana after the superstar reportedly “started to convulse”. Two emergency landings in less than 24 hours? Seems like Wayne needs to be put on bed rest for awhile. 

What is it with all these celebs being hospitalized for “dehydration?” Isn’t the cure for that to drink more water? This seems to be one of those special situations that only strike the rich and famous!
