Katy Perry definitely had a birthday to remember! The pop star spent Wednesday night in Las Vegas, but she wasn’t there just to get drunk and hit the club. Perry celebrated by performing at a rally for President Obama.

She did so while wearing a dress that had what appeared to be a large ballot printed across it with Obama/Biden selected, and an empty box for Mittens. 

Perry later tweeted:

“So tonight was a great night! The PRESIDENT gave grandma and I unforgettable shout outs & now I am officially 28! Best. birthday. ever.”

Thursday, the actual day of Perry’s birthday, she had the amazing opportunity to have lunch with the First Lady Michelle Obama. 

Perry tweeted “NOW my bday is complete!”, along with a photo of the two of them.
