Flavor Flav has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

According to TMZ, all the drama went down in Flav’s Vegas home early Tuesday morning when the once rapper turned reality star got into an argument with a teenager in his home, as well as his fiancé. There’s no confirmation on if the teen was Flav’s own kid, or a friend over at the house.

Things escalated when Flav threatened one person with a knife and hit another. That’s when Flav’s fiancé called 911. No details on who got hit and who was only spooked by the knife.

At 3 this morning, Flavor Flav was taken in and booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery.

He’s now sitting in a Vegas cell with bail set at $23,000.

The 53 year old was part of the Hip Hop pioneers Public Enemy, but is best known for his stints in reality TV on Vh1.  He was part of The Surreal Life and then got a spinoff from that when he and Brigitte Nielsen fell “in love,” and got the rightly named show, Strange Love. When things didn’t work out between the two (of course), Vh1 gave him his own reality show to find romance on Flavor of Love.

Since his reality shows have all ended, this arrest has been the first time Flavor Flav’s been in the news…well, except for when he mistook Miley Cyrus for Gwen Stefani…
