Mariah Carey talks to Barbara Walters about Nicki Minaj fight and Nicki talks to Twitter. It’s easy to see who people respect when it comes to these two.

Whether or not the animosity and tension between Mariah and Nicki on the American Idol set is for show or not, it’s definitely entertaining. Video surfaced this week of the two divas having it out during an audition. At one point you could hear Minaj scream, “Off With Your Head!”

Since Carey has years of PR training and a touch of class, her side of the story got to be told on The View through Barbara Walters. According to Carey via Walters, the worst thing wasn’t even the Queen of Hearts comment, it was when Nicki walked off camera and people could hear her say, “If I had a gun, I would shoot this bitch.” Carey now feels it necessary to hire extra security because of that statement.

This led Nicki to tweet her side in what appeared to be English.

“Hey yAll. Lets just say nicki said smthn about a gun. ppl will believe it cuz she’s a black rapper. Lmao. I’ll then hit up Barbara n milk it,” an obvious aim towards Mariah running to Walters.”

“Barbara walters didn’t reach out from our team barbz. I guess we’re too dangerous. Don’t shake if u don’t wannA get shook!!!! LmAooooooooooo.”

“I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet.  Never needed an army. God is good.  Insecurity is as cruel as the grave.”

“I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.”

Is this all for show? With The Voice and X Factor stepping on Idol’s turf, has this show stooped so low as to put Mariah and Nicki at a supposed war? With FOX…who knows how shady they could get.
