The 2012 elections are just a few weeks away, and you can’t turn on the TV without a candidate for some office telling you why he deserves your vote. Every vote counts, but one Presidential hopeful has lost that of “The View” host Whoopi Goldberg.
Ever since Monday’s release of Mitt Romney’s secretly-recorded comments about half the population of the U.S., the GOP candidate has been bombarded with criticism of his views, even from his own party. At the same pricey fund-raiser where Romney made those comments, he also had this to say about “The View”:
“‘The View’ is high risk because of the five women on it. Only one is conservative and four are sharp-tongued and not conservative, Whoopi Goldberg in particular. Although the last time I was on the show, she said to me, ‘You know what? I think I could vote for you.’ And I said, ‘I must have done something really wrong.’”
Well, it looks like Romney won’t be getting Goldberg’s vote after all, since she posted this multi-tweet rant Wednesday night:
“Well Mr Romney the man I was talking about turned into a man who flushed his ideals down the drain. Yes once I thought there was the possibility of a moderate republican who could make the race with Obama at least interesting. But that was Months ago before your desperation to be President made u forget your ideals.”
Romney is scheduled to make an appearance on “The View” next month. This should be very interesting, at least for the viewers.
