Lucy Hale and boyfriend Chris Zylka break up and use Twitter to air their post-relationship feelings.

Remember the good ol’ days when you broke up with someone and if you were pissed, you’d just write things in the bathroom stall? Today, Hollywood’s young stars take it to the virtual streets. Everything seemed fine and dandy for Pretty Little Liar’s star Lucy Hale and The Amazing Spider-Man’s “Flash Thompson,” Chris Zylka. That was until a fan took to Twitter to say Zylka had a “gorgeous” girlfriend.

Zylka, who is 27, then responded in a middle school manner with, “Don’t have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good.” He then sulked a little more like a 14 year old with a broken heart and tweeted lyrics to Smashing Pumpkins’ “Bullet With Butterfly Wings,” “Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage, someone who said what was lost can never be saved.”

Hale didn’t keep quiet for long, but opted not to put her own opinions out there. She retweeted Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda Williams’ advice to her, “You are worth what you think you deserve. Regard yourself highly, treat yourself well, work hard & never settle. The rest is just patience.”

The harshest tweet in this feud belongs to Zylka with “There’s a difference between celebrities and movie stars. Celebrities fade away, while movie stars stick around forever.” Ouch!

Someone needs to tell that boy there’s other young ABC Family actresses out there to be fixated on and that he should just focus on his new gig on FX’s American Horror Story. As for Hale? If the 23 year old is writing any music for her Hollywood Records album, we’re sure they’ll be a Taylor Swift like song on there about this Twitter feud.
