Two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White was partying like a rock star in Nashville—a really stupid rock star. That’s why he’s been dragged off to the hospital and then to jail.

According to TMZ, the snowboarder got seriously intoxicated and trashed his hotel room. When the hotel staff dropped by to investigate, White made a run for it, but not before allegedly setting off a few fire alarms.

White managed to fall down and split his head open before being arrested for vandalism and public intoxication. He was taken to a local hospital before getting carted off to jail.

No doubt, White will call in some high-priced legal help and get off with probation, community service, all that stuff celebs get when the rest of us would be sitting in jail. The only place he might take a hit is in the pocketbook.

Forbes claims that White is worth $20 million, most of that from his lucrative endorsement deals. If some of those sponsors decide that a guy who gets drunk and trashes hotel rooms isn’t the image they want attached to their products, the red haired athlete could find himself replaced by another jock with a more spotless reputation.
