Jay-Z and Beyonce are longtime supporters of President Barack Obama, so it’s no surprise that the power couple is helping him get re-elected.

At this point in the campaign, all candidates need contributions, and this well-connected duo plans to host a celebrity-studded event. The New York Post has reported that an exclusive fundraiser for President Obama will take place on September 18 at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club. Just 100 guests will be admitted at $40,000 per ticket. The well-heeled attendees will have the chance to hobnob with the POTUS at his final NYC event before the November 6 election.

Just a few weeks ago, Beyonce did an ad for the Obama campaign in which she read a letter of admiration for First Lady Michelle Obama. The singer has also contributed to the video for Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” program that fights childhood obesity.
