Blake Lively Weds Ryan Reynolds on SC Plantation
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot this weekend, and it took some people by surprise! However, this was no impulsive elopement. The photogenic pair enlisted a wedding planner and Martha Stewart’s team of experts to make the day absolutely perfect.
The ceremony will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, and the magazine gave a preview of the couple’s “intimate, personalized party” set “in a rustic barn”: “From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration.”
According to People, Lively and her bridesmaids wore gowns by Marchesa and Christian Louboutin shoes for the Sunday ceremony, which was held at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Reynolds and his groomsmen donned Burberry suits with leather suspenders.
Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine provided the entertainment at the reception.
This was the first trip down the aisle for the 25-year-old bride, the second for the groom. Reynolds, 35, was previously married for two years to Scarlett Johansson.
Lively and Reynolds had been dating for about a year, but kept the relationship very quiet—at least until now. Congratulations, guys!
