NBA star Kris Humphries may be almost free of Kim Kardashian, but his problems are far from over. Now he’s been sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes!

TMZ is reporting that Humphries hooked up with Kayla Goldberg at L.A.’s Newsroom Café back in August of 2010. That night, the pair got together at Sunset Strip hotspot Trousdale before adjourning to his hotel for some unprotected sex.

After noticing some suspicious symptoms the next week, Goldberg visited her doctor and was diagnosed with herpes.

Now, two years later, Goldberg is suing Humphries for sexual battery, claiming he knew he had herpes and failed to tell her.

OK, this sends up all kinds of red flags. Why did she wait two years to sue if she knew she was infected just a week after the encounter? Did Humphries actually know he had herpes two years ago, or did he get it later? Does he even have it in the first place, or is Goldberg lying? And where does his soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian figure into this?

Like most celebrity lawsuits, this one will probably either lie around for years before being dismissed or be settled out of court. So far, there has been no comment from Humphries’ rep.
