Rihanna recently sat down and opened up on Oprah’s Next Chapter about the Chris Brown controversy and revealed, “I’m afraid of the pedestal that comes with fame.”

Much like we all expected, Oprah Winfrey didn’t walk away from her talk show habits and traveled down to Barbados for an in depth interview with the “Rude Boy” singer. If you’re wondering, yes…there will be tears shed as Rihanna reveals more than just the pop star we all are familiar with. She even surprised Oprah with her personality. Winfrey admitted after the fact:

“I went there with my own ideas about who she was. I thought she was gonna be kind of a badass, kind of a hard-edged, rocker pop woman. Nothing could have been further from the truth. This is who she was for me and my cameras. She was 100 percent herself. She was thoughtful. She was very emotional. She was vulnerable. She pushes the edge…I came away really getting a great sense of who she was.”

In the preview, Rihanna can be seen tearing up as she shares her feelings about the break-up with Chris Brown: 

“It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. I lost my best friend. I was resentful. I held a grudge. I was dark.”

With all the tears, people will also get an inside look at how the world famous singer is still just “Robyn Fenty” to her neighbors, and how good a driver she was with the notorious talk show host in the passenger seat.
