Congrats to reality star Kristin Cavallari and NFL quarterback Jay Cutler on the birth of their first child, Camden Jack Cutler. Her rep Jack Ketsoyan confirmed that little Camden was born early Wednesday morning.

The happy new mom tweeted, “We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world. He was born this morning weighing 7lbs 9oz. Everyone is doing great!”

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the former star of “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” and the Chicago Bears QB. The pair became engaged in 2011, but split shortly before their wedding date. They then got back together a few months later and announced the pregnancy in January.

Cutler showed off his domestic side for his pregnant fiancée, who tweeted during her third trimester, “Jay is making me lasagna . . . he takes such good care of me good thing because I can barely move.”

Cavallari told US magazine that she was sure Cutler was “gonna be a great dad! He’s so cute with kids…He’s good with my little dog, so he’s gonna be really, really cute with kids!”

We can’t wait to see the baby photos! Does this mean a wedding is approaching for the new mommy and daddy? I suppose they’re taking one step at a time.
