Beyonce and Jay-Z top Forbes highest paid couple list.

The king and queen of the Hip-Hop scene have dethroned last year’s number one pair, supermodel Gisele Bundchen and NFL all-star Tom Brady, putting them in the number two spot this time around.

Speaking of thrones, Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne album and concerts with Kanye West helped him bring in somewhere around $38 million. Plus sales of his Decoded book, his nightclub endeavors, and the money from the Roc Nation record label assisted him in bringing home the bacon.

Wait a minute, before you think he rules the roost. Take note, it’s his wife Beyonce who is top dog when it comes to the money though.  Sponsorships, along with album sales of 4 and royalties from her other music helped bring in around $40 million. This may surprise many since Bey even took a break to care for their daughter Blue Ivy. If you did the math, that places them at a net-worth of $78 million.

Coming in a close second were Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady with $72 million, former Spice Girl Victoria and soccer stud David Beckham took third with $54 million, power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came in 4th with $45 million, and the blockbuster king Will and his gal Jada Pinkett Smith came in 5th with a steady $40 million.

Looking at that list, even fifth place seems like a winner.

So it’s official, Blue Ivy Carter is the luckiest kid in the world!
