Ryan Lochte denies being a ladies man, but admits to taking a number one in the pool, and we aren’t talking about a gold medal.

In an interview with USA Today, Ryan’s mother Ike Lochte somehow had her words twisted up, causing people to believe the Olympian was a bit of a player. Her quote being, “He goes out on one-night stands. He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”

She then went on the record to clear things up, saying, “All I wanted to say is that he’s so sensitive about not wanting to hurt a girl dating, so he just goes and dates and takes out a girl for maybe one or two dates and doesn’t have a relationship because he doesn’t have [time] and it’s not fair to the women.”

Lochte was quick to defend his mother’s words, “They took it out of context. My mom is really new to all of this and the media… She meant since the last 4 years I just wanted to focus on swimming, and I didn’t really have time for a relationship,” he also wanted to note that he does “love the ladies.” But not to the extent that the paper took it. She’s now claiming he’s a good guy…but what mother doesn’t believe their son’s a sweetheart?

He may be a sweetie pie to the ladies he dates and to his mom, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a wild side. In an interview on air with Ryan Seacrest, the gold medalist admitted to peeing in the Olympic pool! Thankfully he said, “Not during the races, but I sure did before in warm-up.”

That’s still gross to think about…Wonder what his mom has to say about that?
