Tameka Raymond is back at it….
The tragic death of Tameka Raymond’s son Kile caused a brief truce in her war with ex-husband Usher, but now the two are back at each other’s throats, with the grieving mother charging that the pop star didn’t really care about her child.
Less than a month after the jet ski accident that took the life of 11-year-old Kile Glover, the bitter custody battle is on again between Usher and his former wife Tameka Raymond, who has filed new documents slamming the singer for his request to delay their next court hearing due to the boy’s death.
According to TMZ, Usher’s request cites his concerns that the hearing could cause “unnecessary stress and strain” to both parents and their two small children “in the immediate wake of this tragedy.” The pop star also fears he could lose custody of the children to Tameka because her status as a grieving mom would make her more sympathetic to a judge.
Tameka calls BS on her ex’s claims, calling his expressions of sympathy “BOGUS.” She states that during her son’s 15 days on life support following the accident, “[Usher] visited Kile in the hospital only once.” Tameka also calls Usher’s request to delay the hearing “simply a transparent sham” and wants him in court on August 13th for their scheduled hearing.
It’s too bad that these two have to use even the death of a child as ammunition against each other in this vicious custody fight.
