Katherine Jackson is relieved today as she gets co-custody back of her three grandchildren despite her “unknown” disappearance.
Michael Jackson’s 82 year old mother claimed that she had no clue she was missing a couple weeks ago when her granddaughter Paris tweeted about her being MIA. Katherine was gone from her grandkids for 10 days before they knew she was at an Arizona spa. The Jackson matriarch went on record to say that she was kept from making contact with the outside world, having her phone and iPad confiscated upon arrival. She also added that the whole trip was doctors’ orders to get some rest.
She only realized she was “missing” when she heard a TV report in her room. A day before returning home to California, she was able to get a hold of her grandkids. She reported, “While there was a telephone in my room, the telephone was not functioning and I could not dial out.”
Something smells fishy about that, but the court bought it and Katherine was awarded co-custody of Paris, Prince and Blanket once again. She shares custody with TJ Jackson, who had primary custody last week when things got a little out of control for the Jackson clan. This co-guardianship is temporary and they’ll be back in court August 22nd to finalize things.
It was probably the kids who played a huge part in this since all three expressed how much they wanted to be back with their grandmother.
Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff had the final say and said, “I think the kids are in terrific hands. It appears from the report that Katherine Jackson has done a wonderful job and cares about the children very much.”
This could finally be the end of the road for the Jackson drama…well until the end of the month when they hit the courtroom again.
