Emily B. of Love & Hip Hop New York is turning her nose up at the viewers that continuously compare her to Mimi Faust who is currently a part of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s cast. 

Emily B was someone many female viewers felt sympathy for when watching the hit VH1 show, because she was clearly being deceived by rapper Fabolous who kept quiet about their relationship throughout the several years they dated. Not only did Emily share countless stories of Fab’s cheating, but it was also revealed on the show by Kimbella, another cast member, that she once had an affair with the rapper while Emily was pregnant with his child.

After all of this, Emily is still madly in love with Fabolous and is willing to defend him and their relationship whenever she feels the need to. Recently, fans of the show have compared Emily and Mimi’s situation, since Mimi is also being continuously cheated on and disrespected by producer Stevie J. 

However, Emily is upset about the comparisons, and recently told Hellobeautiful.com:

“You know I get a little upset when they compare characters because I’m nothing like any of those women. My story is not like any of those stories. I don’t see Fab in any of those men in that show at all. No offense to them, but nobody knows [how it is]. Y’all get to see the Stevie J’s and the Lil’ Scrappy’s and nobody really knows who Fab is or what he does or what he’s about. People just make assumptions and it really bothers me because he was never on camera for you to make that assumption so people really don’t know.”

“I mean I spoke to Mimi and watching her I felt for her. I understand how it feels to love someone and feel that pain, but I’ve never been through anything that she’s been through. Fab only has one child with me so I don’t know what that feels like to have a man with many. I’ve never dealt with anything on that level in my life. Her story is a strong powerful story that I can’t even imagine going through.”
