Michael Clarke Duncan Hospitalized, Omarosa Saves Him
Michael Clarke Duncan, best known for his role in ‘The Green Mile’, has been submitted to a Los Angeles hospital. The 54 year old actor had a heart attack early Friday morning, and is currently in the intensive care unit.
Duncan could have possibly taken his last breath, had it not been for his girlfriend, Omarosa.
According to TMZ, the former apprentice star found Duncan in a state of cardiac arrest at about 2 am, and immediately began giving him CPR. Sources also tell TMZ that Duncan is now stable, and doctors are running tests to figure out what caused his heart to stop. Omarosa has been by his side the entire time.
When people have heart attacks, we often wonder if it had anything to do with their diet. However, Duncan is a proud vegetarian, so his eating habits might not have been the cause of this random heart failure.
Back in May, Duncan sat down with PETA, and described to them how much healthier he has been since giving up meat 3 years ago.
“The best thing about being a vegetarian for me, number one is I know I’m not harming any animals. The number two thing is increased strength. I’m a lot stronger than I was when I was eating meat. Most of your most powerful animals in the wild are vegetarian, so I’m trying to get my strength to that level. I don’t know if I’ll make it or not, but elephants are vegetarians. They’re pretty big, so …”
We wish Duncan a speedy recovery, and the best of health.
