Jane Fonda was considered to be one of the sexiest actresses in Hollywood in the late sixties—who can forget her in “Barbarella?” But after several decades and three failed marriages, Fonda says her sex life is better than ever before!

The always-outspoken actress gave women who are concerned about aging something to look forward to in her candid interview with Britain’s Hello! Magazine. Fonda had plenty to say about her current relationship with 70-year-old record producer Richard Perry, including, “At 74, I have never had such a fulfilling sex life.”

The couple met two-and-a-half years ago, while Fonda was recovering from a knee replacement. “When I moved in with him I was still using crutches; we haven’t been apart since. The only thing I have never known is true intimacy with a man. I absolutely wanted to discover that before dying. It has happened with Richard, I feel totally secure with him. Often, when we make love, I see him as he was 30 years ago.”

Fonda’s also getting sexy onscreen, playing an aging hippie who shares a young lover with her middle-aged daughter in “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding.”

The actress told the Huffington Post that she hoped to inspire other women her age. “At this odd old age I’m becoming more glamorous than I ever was when I was meant to be. I want to go against type and give hope.”

Fonda certainly makes a colorful role model!
