George Clooney and girlfriend Stacy Keibler may never return to a certain eatery in Italy after their bad luck with food poisoning over the 4^th of July.

They started out their normal evening at il Gatto Nero with a group of friends to watch fireworks (so they celebrate US independence in other countries?), including Clooney’s ex Karen Duffy, her husband John Lambros and their son Jack. In the end, the entire dinner party went home with a doggy bag full of food poisoning.

Keibler let her people know, tweeting, “Finally had a bad meal in Italy, our whole dinner party got food poisoning ‪#ohwell at least I’m still in Italy.”

Always on the bright side, Keibler didn’t let that one night damper her entire trip. The pair spent the holiday in Cernobbio, Italy where they did the usual; hanging at Clooney’s lake house, boat rides and fine dining…Not too fine though.

Much like Demi, Ashton and Bruce back in the day, Clooney lets the Ex in on the fun. Not only was Karen at dinner, but she was with the pair as they spent the day on Lake Como. Acting as true adults, there was no bad blood between the two women.

All in all it was a trip most of us would trade our family BBQs for, despite the poisoned food.
