Adele just landed another hit, she’s pregnant!

The 6 time Grammy winner announced today on her website that she and boyfriend, Simon Konecki, will soon have a little bundle of joy.

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.”

The news sent people into an instant frenzy on Google as Adele is topping searches left and right. The news also caused her site to crash this morning.

The 24 year old said in recent months that she wanted to have a baby by the end of the year, so it appears the little one might’ve been planned….which isn’t bad when you think of it since they’ve been lovey dovey since meeting in the UK last summer.

This pregnancy is being looked at as the cherry on top of a very successful year. Adele went from a voice you heard occasionally…to one heard nonstop on radio with her singles from the chart topping album, 21. But with that album being comprised of heartbreak, we can only imagine the lyrical content she’ll come up with now that she’s set to be a mommy.

No one knows how far along Adele is at this point, but major congrats to the couple and their baby.
