Oprah Asks Kardashians if Mama Kris is “Pimping” Her Kids

Oprah Asks Kardashians if Mama Kris is “Pimping” Her Kids

Where would the hopelessly overexposed Kardashian clan be without their momager Kris pushing them every step of the way? Probably just an unknown bunch of rich, spoiled brats…instead of a famous bunch of rich, spoiled brats, but the kids insist she’s only doing her job.

Oprah Winfrey is no longer a staple of weekday TV, but she does do an occasional interview for her network OWN. This Sunday, OWN will be airing Oprah’s sit-down with the Kardashian family. Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian , Khloé Kardashian Odom and Rob Kardashian fielded queries from Oprah, including one asking what they thought about accusations that their mom Kris Jenner was “pimping her children.”

Not surprisingly, Kim jumped in to answer.

“I think that’s so ridiculous. First of all, we have to hire a manager. So regardless, someone is going to get that [job]. No one will fight harder for you than your own mother.” The former Mrs. Kris Humphries added, “She knows us. She knows all of our moods…We just get each other. We vibe. It works.”

Kardashians Do Oprah

Oprah went on to ask if the Kardashians would be as successful if they weren’t attractive. As usual, Rob managed to say just the wrong thing, starting “Well,” and gesturing to his three siblings, “They’re not, like, skinny women.”

Yeah, we noticed, Rob. Predictably, big sis Khloe put him in his place, saying, “Who are you?” before adding, “You’re so sweet.”

Alas, Khloe failed to smack him, but since Mrs. Lamar Odom had the spotlight, she ran with it.

“I mean in today’s society, yeah, to be honest, probably not. You have to have this bombshell over here [Kim] and this petite little bundle of joy [Kourtney] and this hunk next to me [Rob].”

The very pregnant Kourtney chimed in to add, “But we are all different. We have different body types.”

Kim offered the opinion that their uniqueness contributed to their fame, saying:

“But I don’t think [our success] would’ve happened if we were all like skinny, pretty models. I think it has to do with us, the curves, the dark hair!”

Oh, I don’t know about that. Teen sibs Kendall and Kylie are both “skinny, pretty models,” and mom Kris doesn’t seem to be having any trouble pimping, or, promoting, them into a new generation of Kardashian cash cows.
