Brooke Mueller, haven’t you ever heard the saying? “He’s an ex for a reason.”

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke, has checked back into rehab for substance abuse (crack cocaine), a move that could actually put her in prison. This comes after her run in with a patron at a music venue, outpatient therapy, “intensive” inpatient program, AND outpatient rehab. Brooke had been on probation following her Aspen drug arrest in December. Brooke confessed to the possession charge to avoid jail time and opted for a year of probation instead. This means that a failed urine test could put her in jail.

Brooke’s rep, Steve Honig stated that “As part of her ongoing treatment and as planned, she voluntarily checked herself into a rehab facility several weeks ago.”

However, a source close to Mueller says that “she met up with Charlie again, partied for four days at his Mulholland Estate home and ultimately fell off the wagon.” Brooke also missed spending Mother’s Day with their three-year-old twins (she left them to the care of her mother), and some say that she risks losing her rights to the children if she keeps this up.

It looks to me that Charlie’s shadow is still lurking over his ex-wife. Maybe it’s time for someone to get a move on.
