Chris Brown fans broke out their daggers and claws on Twitter when John Legend’s fiancé, model Chrissy Teigen, voiced her opinion about Brown at the Billboard Awards, tweeting:

So excited to see Chris Brown! I love loud and surprising background fits of rage I can hear from the audience! 

And after Brown’s performance where he appeared to be lip synching, Teigen also added, “Why sing when you can dance?” 

Team Breezy, the legion of Brown fans, were quick to tweet away at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model to defend their favorite star. It’s normal to tweet at someone when you disagree with them. It’s insane to make numerous accounts just to virtually attack someone. This sentiment was expressed by Teigen the day after the awards,

I’m ‘insane’ for talking about it for hours. No mention of how insane you have to be to create 10+ accounts to write me 100s of times.

What was funny was when the fans who worked so hard to make those accounts, deleted them when they got noticed.  Teigen tweeted “@robevans656 noticed you deleted it. not a good look, eh?” in response to an earlier tweet that read,” I don’t beat women, but you are one bitch I will make an exception for.”

You can see the classy side of Team Breezy shining bright in the above, but things got even classier when they started involving Teigen’s fiancé, John Legend. Fans told him that he needed to ‘keep his b*tch on a leash’. Legend rose above and responded:

And don’t ever tell me to put my ‘bitch on a leash’. She’s a grown woman with her own mind and her own opinions and this is not 1950.

Chris Brown has since urged the psycho fans to simmer down. The young star who is no stranger to drama tweeted to followers:

Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y’all bout that life but it’s the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!  

Good call on Brown’s publicist’s part. Those threats were  beyond unnecessary…

Great, now I’m going to be getting a bunch of hate mail and death threats. Team Breezy fans…stand down.
