Lisa Lampanelli finally goes home! Are you jumping for joy?

Lampanelli was extremely confident that she was the HBIC on Celebrity Apprentice, and although she denies it now, she definitely thought she would be the one taking home the title. 

Sunday’s show began with 5 remaining contestants, Lisa Lampanelli, Teresa Giudice, Clay Aiken, Aubrey O’Day, and Arsenio Hall. Lampanelli, because she loves being in control, was project manager for Team Forte which included Clay Aiken. Teresa Guidice led Team Unanimous joined by Aubrey O’Day and Arsenio Hall. The teams were assigned the task of putting together a four-page print ad for the CHI Digital Touchscreen hair dryer. After the ad’s completion, the next step was pitching it to Farouk Sytems and Elle Magazine. They were judged based on their print campaign, brand messaging, and overall pitch. Lampanelli led Team Forte to a victory, winning $100,000 for charity. Giudice had failed as a manager, basically allowing O’Day and Hall to create majority of the ideas, so she was of course sent home.

However, it didn’t stop there. The 4 remaining contestants had to return to the boardroom in order to meet with last year’s winner and runner-up John Rich and Marlee Matlin. The two of them ask the contestants several questions, but one in particular leads Lampanelli to the dreadful elevator. Marlee asks what the other contestants would say about her. Lampanelli admits that she is often controlled by her temper. Marlee then asks if it’s appropriate to cry in the boardroom, and she basically responds “Well everyone else does it!”. 

Marlee then tells Trump that Lampanelli may just be a little too emotional to be anyone’s leader. Trump agrees…and tells her those infamous words…you’re fired!!

Buh-bye Lisa! You’re nothing more than a bully that should have been fired a long time ago.
