Despite criticism of Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded”, the sophomore album has already peaked at number one on i-tunes. However, the superstar rapper hasn’t gotten too comfty.

Nicki is still promoting daily for the album that she says is unlike any other, as it includes more than one genre. Just last night, Nicki sat down with ABC Nightline’s JuJu Chang to discuss ‘Roman Reloaded’ among other things. During the interview, Chang took the time out to ask Nicki how she feels about the comparisons to Lady GaGa, take a look at what she had to say: 

Does Lady Gaga comparisons offend you?
Offend me? No. Irk me? Yes. First of all, I’m a rapper. I’m from Southside, Jamaica, Queens. What are the similarities? Let me turn the cameras and ask you.

Wigs? Every female in this game….EVERY female in this game wears wigs.

The over-the-top costumes…
Over-the-top costumes? Ehhh…try again.

It does make you mad!
No, because it’s getting tired now though to me. In the beginning I was like “ok, it’s cool. Haha, when they get to know me they’ll understand”. I mean GaGa is a fantastic artist. She’s paved her way. She’s opened her own lane. I feel like I have my own lane. And we never cross…EVER.

Nicki also discusses the abuse she witnessed as a child, her father’s drug addiction, how parents and children should feel about her music, promoting girl power, and even her accidental breast exposure during a performance last year.
