Tebow-316 & 31.6 yards=John 3:16-Coincidence or act of God??

I’m not a woman who knows a lot about football. Actually, I honestly don’t know anything about it. HOWEVER, there is one name that I’ve heard plenty about this year, and that’s Tim Tebow.

The Denver Broncos Quarterback has been mentioned all throughout the media, from kids getting in trouble at school for “Tebow-ing”, to Republican Presidential Candidate Rick Perry comparing himself to the football star during a live debate. Tebow has become well-known, not only for his great plays, but also for kneeling down in prayer before each game. This past Sunday, Tebow led the Broncos in a victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, when…

Get this: Tebow threw for a career high 316 yards, and set an NFL record for 31.6 yards per completion in a playoff game.

These numbers ironically correlate with the most well-known verse in the Bible, John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

For some, this is shocking…to others, a coincidence….but to believers, it’s simply confirmation.

On Monday morning, the day after the game, John 3:16 was the most searched item on Google.
